Most lappys have built in sound cards that are essentially nothing but a chip on the MOBO and run MME drivers.

They will run BB & RB just fine but probably not too much if you are using styles that mix synths and audio together. I can work quite well on my off the shelf stock Dell lappy with both programs. (BB & RB)

Tuba in bluegrass? Breath control aside... that just fails period. Upright bass is needed.
