Hi All,
I am about to upgrade from Windows XP to Windows 7 [64 Bit] with a general rebuild of my PC and will take the opportunity to introduce a replacement audio interface. I am proposing to use a Focusrite Scarlett 2i4 --- I had previously intended to go for the Focusrite Saffire 6 USB until I discovered that it is in the process of being discontinued.
I should explain that, under XP, I presently use my Creative Audigy Platinum as interface which works fine, but this dinosaur will not be supported on Windows 7. I did previously also purchase IK Multimedia StealthPedal as a replacement interface but PT and RB refuse to speak to it, though it is fine with Cubase.
In order to avoid wasting money on another interface which will not work with PT/RB, I would therefore appreciate any advice/feedback as to the compatibility of this interface with PowerTracks and RealBand together with any comments on its performance generally. Hopefully some of you out there are using the Scarlett 2i4 and can confirm its performance or otherwise with PT/RB.
