Hi Jeff, Mac

OK, in Power Tracks 2014 (1) I used this demo:

From a USB stick with a few bars of piano on it,,,

Drop down 'Audio"

Import wave file to track 1, 1-0-0

Import wave file to track 2, 6-3-10

Change to 'Mixer'

Pan track 1 hard left

Pan track 2 hard right

"save as" button, "test1"

Go back to 'track' and play...plays from left and right
speakers as it should
---------------------------------

Use the "Render Audio DXi" button

Click, "Merge to audio and DXi tracks to Stereo wave file"

Save to desk top as "test2"

Test2 has been created successfully,

click "yes" to hear

File plays back as mono, no panning

'Mono' is the word I was look for thanks.

So I now have two computers that only mix down to mono,
no matter what version of Power Tracks I have installed.
