I'm trying to input a melody by hand with the notation feature. How do I tie two notes together to make one long tone? edit: Never mind. I tried deleting the second note and tried clicking and dragging the first note over and it created one.  Hi Jimmy There was a recent post on how to use ties. Here is the link, have a read through, you'll see the method. It's a bit different to the way you would write manuscript manually, but the result is the same. Basically, you don't add the end note and tie them together, you just extend the length of the first note. Hope this helps Regards Trevor
