No its definitely not a hardware issue. I am using FL Studio with lots of vst and vsti heavily and never experienced the issue. (Why would a hardware failure give Access violation at address anyway?)

I experienced similar issue when using Korg M1 inside BIAB too, for multiple songs.


Hardware could definitely cause an A/V if it is requesting the driver to access memory outside of the program's address space.
