Matt is correct.
In my song I "changed the instrument" that was playing the melody, from fiddle to mandolin.
However, I had to use 2 tracks (Melody and Soloist) to do it.
Although it solved my problem, it still means that the process could be streamlined and I'll go ahead and add it to the Wish List.
