This is an older song, written many years ago in 2000 and recorded for a second time in 2010 using BB/RB. JESUS IS RISEN Just for this day, to celebrate events that happened many centuries ago. Enjoy. Jesus Is Risen Herb Hartley 2010/2000 The sun was was low and rising, in the garden As the women slowly made their way. To the place where they had laid their dear friend Jesus Teardrops still streaming down their face Remembering all the the things they just saw happen. Jesus was nailed upon a cross. Hung and left to die between two sinners. Their tender hearts, still aching from the loss. When they got there they found the tomb was open Cautiously, they slowly stepped inside They heard a man's voice ask, why are you crying Setting there an angel dressed in white. and he said The chains have been broken, Jesus is risen Death could not hold him, inside it's dark prison A new day is dawning, and Jesus is living. Give God the glory, for Jesus is risen. (Twin guitar solo) They hurried home to tell their friends the story. All the things the angel had to say. They couldn't believe the words the angel told them could such a thing be happening today. Suddenly, standing there among them. Was Jesus, with a smile on his face. He said My friends, the words that I have told you. Are coming true in front of you today. The chains have been broken, Jesus is risen Death could not hold him, inside it's dark prison A new day is dawning, and Jesus is living. Give God the glory, for Jesus is risen. Thanks for listening.
There is no special "treatment" on the vocals besides some EQ and reverb. I used A Rode NT-2A to record the vox. It's a really nice mic.
