I get Netflix on good ol' DVD disks in the mail. I don't watch that often, so we have the minimal subscription.

When we do watch, I enjoy the bonus features on many of the DVDs. (Since they are shorts, I call them BVDs.)

Sometimes you get a film historian or technician explaining interesting things about the director's methods or how they chose the colors/lighting/focus, sometimes you get deleted scenes, and sometimes you even get the composer of the music!!!

Other times the BVDs don't interest me at all, but I like to have the choice.

We also have a slow DSL connection because the end of the fiber optics cable is pretty far from us so even if I wanted to stream Netflix, a lot of buffering would frustrate me.
