More on this:

Loaded an SMF, originally in C, and tried to transpose it -1 (down 1/2 step), MIDI only, leave the drum tracks alone, in PT2014. That "half-worked" (the new key showed on the Key Transpose button but no actual transposition took place), Saved the file and loaded it into Sonar. The Key Signature in Sonar registered as B but the note data was still in the original key of C. I transposed all the non-drum tracks -1 in Sonar, made sure the Key Signature was still reading as B, then saved the file. Reloaded the file into PT2014. The Key Signature button displayed B but the Chord Window did not reinterpret the note data (even the the "Always" option is set)and displayed the chords in the key of C, even though the music was now playing in the key of B. Of course, I was able to force the Chord Wizard to reinterpret the song and display the chords in the correct key because I happen to know the secret way to access the hidden Chord Wizard commands (right-click on the chord display area).

Please, fix the Key Signature button features. It is one of the most convenient, common-sense features that other DAWS never seem to have. It worked great until PT2014.

P.S.: Besides the fact that I keep going to the upper-left for the transport, I do like the new interface.
