OP DrDan Veteran Joined: Dec 2002 Posts: 12,174 Wauconda	I have learned to live with this. Since restricting my Avast AV and excluding all BAIB activity from it, the load speed has been more consistent and generally quicker. Not as quick as v2013 or before. I have an SSD and a i7 DAW and in the past it was much quicker. But not too much of a problem today. BIAB – 2025, Reaper (current), i7-12700F Processor, 32GB DDR4-3200MHz RAM, 1TB WD Black NVMe SSD, 2TB WDC Blue SSD, 1TB WD Blue, 2 TB SK NVMe, 6 TB External, Motu Audio Express 6x6
