I generally use the BB & RB tracks for drums. They sound good and with some proper EQ and compression they can sound fairly awesome.

I also use Jamstix at times simply because the kits sound different. BUT..... I use JS in Sonar where all my RB tracks end up anyway.

To use a VST in Sonar, it's not enough to simply install the new synth to the computer. You also have to add it to the list of available VST's and then allow Sonar to run a scan to verify the VST's location.

Perhaps BB/RB has a similar type thing. I don't know because I never use VST's in BB/RB so I have never gone through the process. That would be my first guess if it doesn't work because PG claims that plugins work in BB/RB.
