Okay, here's a problem I'm having.

Because I have an arranger keyboard, I like my MIDI channels set up the same way as on the keyboard and in BIAB. Basically, that means Bass on Channel 9, Drums of course on 10, Piano on 11, Guitar on 12 and Strings on 13. Melody goes on 1, Thru on 5, and Soloist on 8.

I've downloaded and installed the latest Aria player, and I see I'm forced to use the VSTi/DXi synth for all channels, instead of mixing it with the standard MIDI output. Apparently no mixing hardware and software yet. Such is life, I can live with that.

What I'm having problems with is I can set the bass patch, the piano patch, leave Real Drums to do that. However, when I set Garritan for JABB and any Guitar patch, I get a piano patch. The soloist is vibes, but they show up on the strings track, too, where it's supposed to be strings.

I've checked the channel assignment for each patch, and even go so far as to select Force MIDI Channel in the Plug In box. I can't get this to work.

Then, to top it all off, I switched to the TTS-1 synth, and the same thing happens.

What am I missing?

I'm blessed watching God do what He does best. I've had a few rough years, and I'm still not back to where I want to be, but I'm on the way and things are looking far better now than what they were!
