I guess I am a bit late to the party when it comes to the 17th deadline! Nice vocals and the whole songs hangs together quite well. Very well done. I think the lyrical tale matches the given "longterm bender" criteria.
I finally caught a streetjelly last evening, I've been out of touch there a bit. Of course now that I haven't performed in a while over there, I am back to square zero when it comes to knowing any of my songs well enough to do them live again! Oh well, time to get cracking.

Guess I'm late, eh? Sorry (I have been really tied up with several songs at the same time). This is a good write. Your productions are very good. You mix drums as well as anyone around - or better. Everything sounds good.

PS. Edited to add. I havent had any feedback yet but will certainly let you all know (good or bad) when I get it.
Interestingly they told me the tamborines on another track I submitted were "less than perfect"...they were a loop in BIAB.They sounded good to me. I suppose you never know what they hear in a track.

"As a whole, this song is produced pretty well. The vocals are a little loud compared to the rest of the mix which is very subdued, but for the most part everything can be heard clearly.
The song has very melancholy tone to it, as opposed to the upbeat and party feel of a lot of drinking songs. This may or may not fit depending on the tone of the scene, and it is apparent through most of the song that it's about drinking. "
