Has anyone found a clever way to organise loops in the Loops Folder (other than changing Loop file-names) ?
If you create sub-folders within the Loops Folder, all loops continue to appear, but with the sub-folder preceding the file-name.

You are absolutely right. The Loops folder shows everything inside it. If I remember correctly sub folder content is indented.
This was previously brought up as an issue and discussed. The consensus opinion seemed to be that the Loop folder is not as much a storage place for loops as it is a holding place for loops you plan to use in a project. The reasoning behind that opinion is many people have huge loop libraries that are shared between programs. This way you can copy what you need into the loops folder then delete once your project is complete without having to rearrange your complete loop library.

That's an interesting idea Jim - Thanks.
The disadvantage that occurs to me is for those of us that often re-visit old SGUs. One thing I really appreciate is that when you load an old SGU, its complete and good to go, exactly as you cooked it last time.
A Loop-folder-as-project-holding-site approach would entail hunting through the loop library to find and reload the original loops.
I wonder if it would be feasible for the PG programmers to make the loops folder a 'normal' folder, with a normal folder-cascade facility ?

Thanks for that, Solidrock.
I cannot seem to get Symlink to work. My machine (with W7) claims to have .Net Framework installed, but no joy after several attempts.
No worries - I can live with hunting through a mass of files each time, I guess !
