Hi Charlie ...
We're really liking this one ... particularly the percussions. Good lyric and the arrangement is equally good. For our ears, it has somewhat of a Gordon Lightfoot aura. And that ain't a bad thing!!!
Super job with it all ... lyric, vocal, performance, mixing, etc. Kudos!

Really good job on this. Nice instrumentation and a solid mix.
Terrific job of getting the drums right where they need to be.
And the vocal sits perfectly in the mix.
A cool sound to the whole thing.

It is reminiscent and I mean that in the best way. In the first few bars my mind went to Drifters' Under the Boardwalk and Gordon Lightfoot's Sundown because of the rhythm and the groove. This has a very fresh sound and a cool vibe.
The mix is perfect.
