Hi, all my friends !
I am afraid I am falling in love
again ! My girlfriend from the past
(it was over 50 years since we broke up
and I have not seen her ever since)
was visiting me on thursday and I
had made a very good dinner for her
and for my quartet friends. Me and
my quartet sang quite a few songs
during the evening and when we were
left alone we continued to talk about
everything we had missed during those
50 years. It was a superb evening that
I will remember for the rest of my life
and it is with great sadness I have to bide
her farewell today as she is going back to
Norway where she works and lives and where her
husband and family are ! The evening was
magic as we thrived so well in the company
of each other. I am going to miss her
very much, but hopefully she´ll show up
again maybe next year ? I had to write her
this tune " You Came To Me" with words straight
from my heart ! You can surely feel my double pain
having lost my dear wife and not being allowed to
show my love for my dear old girlfriend also !
At the same time I must confess I have been blessed to
have had such wonderful women in my life ! I have felt
and still feel privileged !
