That is correct. The bass, drum, piano, guitar, and strings tracks are all created based on the style chosen. The melody and soloist tracks are your to do as you wish. But everytime you hit play, those accompaniment tracks get re-generated based on the riffs found in the associated style file.

It's possible to change the riffs in the actual style file, but you still may not get exactly what you want.

If you want to make changes, you might want to look at bringing your BIAB file (or an exported MIDI version of your BIAB file) into RealBand, instead. That effectively locks the arrangement (unless you regenerate it). You can make any changes on a track by track basis there. But in BIAB, everytime you hit play, you're going to get a new, slightly different arrangement. That's the way BIAB works, so that it's more like real musicians playing along with you.
