Wondering how to prevent this or get rid of it.
I wanted my chord lead sheet to have 4 measures per line.
But for some reason I can't figure out, it indents a line in inappropriate places. Randomly it appears.
In other words, some lines might have just 2 or 3 measures.
Is there a way to remove the indentations? Or keep them from occurring? So far, I have seen nothing in the documentation or help menus.

Yes, there is some control over this. When I get to my PC I will give you the command. Note that part markers cause these breaks.

OK, go to Options, Preferences, Display. In BIAB 2014 at least, down near the bottom of the dialog box, look for a checkbox that says "New line for every section (part marker).:

OK, but don't see how I got any "new sections."
I was just typing in chords.
The song is 32 bars, so I wanted 4 bars/line.
There was never any desire to have "sections."
Any way to get RID of them?
How does one get "part markers" when just typing chords
without wanting those?

By the way, which version of BIAB are you using?
You get part markers by clicking on the measure number. Once for blue, twice for green, another time to clear. The blue part marker is an "A" substyle, and the green the "B' substyle that almost always sounds more "busy".
Does any of this sound familiar?

Whenever there is a new part marker in BiaB, this indicates a new section. And the next bar starts on a new line.
When writing text, you put in a new lines when a new paragraph begins. This is analagous to that.
You can disable that behaviour, either for a single song (Song Settings- start a new section on a new line), or for all songs (Prefs-Display-New Section on a new line).
If you think of a song that has a 1-bar intro, and then 4 x 8 bar sections, this setting puts each of the 4 sections on a new line, whereas if you don't, it puts them all starting on the middle of a row.

In addition, in Fake Sheet mode there is this nifty option 'Fake Sheet bars/line' available, which supports pretty detailed customizations.
