Hvis du har fx Steinberg UR 22 Har den tre "trin" eller modi. Kanalerne har et multistik hvor XLR stikket er til mikrofon. Jackstikket er til line, - dvs hvis du fx tilslutter et keyboard. Kanal 2 har en ekstra knap, som hvis indtrykket, regulerer forforstærkningen så den passer til guitar/bas. Desuden har det midi ind/ud, så du kan optage dit midi-keyboard i BIAB. Hvis du køber det lidt større modul UR 44 får du guitarforstærkersimuleringer med. Til begge lydmoduler medfølger en lille version af Cubase. Der er også andre gode lydmoduler på markedet, som kan det samme. Jeg vedhæfter lige specifikationerne nedenfor.
