Started this song back in 50/90 2013, but I ran out of steam so I finished writing and recording it for FAWM 2014. Probably still need to do some cleanup (as always!). I used Floyd jane's handclaps real drum user track -- quite nice! _______________________________________________ Shout It Out© Emmrich 2014(verse) She wears a yellow dress she smiles like the sun and when you think you've figured her out she surprises you again with the little things she does (chorus) and I've got to shout there's no hiding inside she makes life fun and I haven't shouted out for a long, long time (verse) She picks up the leaves been scattered by the breeze red and green and gold and brown she throws them in the wind and spreads her radiating grin (chorus again) Gotta shout it out shout it out Gotta shout it out shout it out (verse) now that I've been exposed to her charms and her ways I never wanna go back to those gray days (chorus again) Gotta shout it out shout it out Gotta shout it out shout it out (outro) and I haven't shouted out for a long, long time _______________________ Kevin: acoustic guitars, banjo, vocals Floyd Jane: Handclap samples BIAB: bass (1580), drums NashCrossovrSw16^01-a, fiddle (2028)

Catchy song with a very cool vocal and arrangement. One thing you might consider is to put it more in the "indie" sound pocket so it's a wee bit drier on the instruments with more raw edge. To me, it's a tad smooth sounding for the style. Not a criticism in any way - only a consideration or not...<grin>

This is a very cozy song.
In the beginning of the song it sounds a little bit like some of the real tracks are not completely in sync with each other?
Anyways, very well done and very nice vocals!
