There's a ton of stuff here to like and I'd be redundant
re all that's been said already if I started listing them.
But, and I don't remember the exact wording,
Gregg Allman once said it doesn't matter what the
genre is if the vocal doesn't have soul it doesn't work
for him.
Janice and I have always agreed with that and simply
stated "you have it!" Don't ask me to define it but
I'm confident I know what it is when I hear it.
