Okay, so how do I enter a chord to play on the off-beat. For instance, in a simple 4 beat measure with upbeats and downbeats(1&2&3&4&) how do I enter a chord to play on the "&" of beat 3. I know how to enter 4 chords per measure using a comma every 2 beats after each chord. But I don't know how to enter more the 4 chords per measure. To make the off-beat thing work, it would seem that I'd need to be able to enter 8 chords per measure. No doubt the answer is a simple one that everybody else knows about except me. I search for enlightenment. Thanks!

You can't enter 8 chords in a bar in BIAB yet. You can anticipate a chord by a sixteenth or an eighth. Look under Pushes in the Help-Index menus. If you need to enter 8 chords in a bar check out the site below. Later, Ray http://www.nortonmusic.com

Do you need to use only BIAB ? you can do it in Realband.

You can enter 8 chords into a measure with BiaB - and you have been able to do it for decades.
Cruise on over to Norton Music and get some EXPANDED styles. The EXPANDED styles treat each BiaB "cell" as a half measure instead of an entire measure. So you can enter chords on any or all of 1 & 2 & 3 & 4 & I invented EXPANDED styles back in the 1990s so that I could enter up to 8 chords per measure or on any beat and the upbeat preceding that beat. How about offering a "5-Pak" or "10-Pak", what ever make most sense, of Expanded Styles which include the most versatile ones. Some of us might just drop a dime on a whim to have these in our tool case. Does that make any sense?
