Cool tune.. the song sounds good to me.
I've never been a big fan of beach music. Although, here in eastern NC that's almost an unpardonable sin to some folks. One of my customers is the bass player in one of the big name beach music bands. Gold records on the wall of his den, Grammys in the curio cabinet, and a really nice home studio. His band is still playing weekend gigs and getting top dollar so I guess there's still lots of fans for it. He also does lots of "freelance" gigging with other bands.

Hi Floyd. Yes, I found the harmony thread and it was very helpful. I had assumed the harmony feature was tied to midi notes and had not even explored the option before Josie's suggestion. I also listened to the example songs from one of your posts when you were first beginning to use the BIABette's. That led me to a post where you shared some 'handclap' tracks you developed. You have been very generous with your time and knowledge here on the forum. I'm sure it's appreciated by all.
I appreciate you taking time to listen and comment and that you previously have taken time to share your expertise with the forum. I always look forward to your contributions.

Hi Herb, I'm glad you enjoyed the tune. This song only marginally meets the template for a real beach song with the lyrics and that it has a tempo and flow that is easy to dance the Carolina Shag. I think for many, the love of beach music is as much about the youthful memories it invokes as it is about the music itself.
I'd like to develop this song and direct its appeal toward the Piedmont of NC where Carolina Blue can mean something other than just sadness.

I live in NC, but I just got back from a beach vacation in Charleston SC, where there is still an abundance of live music every night.
Your song resonates with me on many levels (I identify with the NC-SC thang...)

I purchased and now live on the old family farm that is located inland about 35 miles from North Myrtle Beach, SC but I grew up in Charleston.
