I created a song in BIB 2014 with ABC and D parts. When I open it in RB I am only getting A and B. I could use a little help please.

Were you expecting the song to transfer over from BIAB to RB exactly as you had set it up? It don't work that way.

Thanks for your comment. I would like to be able to be able to export the song to RB and still be able to mix the final track. Im guessing save from BIB as a wav without the extra tracks Im going to fade in and out in verse/chorus then add them as new tracks in RB?
Again thanks for taking the time for any help you may be able to offer me.

There is a checkbox option when making a WAV to save each part as an individual WAV. That may be helpful.

It is all about "workflow". You will find ways to move in and out of BIAB (more out than in actually) which permit you to get exactly what you want. However, certain functions and features are best accommodated in your DAW and not in BIAB. Good Luck.

Thanks for the help offered.
Obviously Im rather new to BIB and RB.
What I found was the when saving the file in BIB I used the WAV tab (under the strings selection at the top of the page)I saved using the "save as separate files" per the video on the help page and suggestion from Rachel. Then I opened in RB and imported each wav file individually in RB. When I needed another sound I went back to BIB and replaced one of the instruments with what I was looking for and saved again the same way but turned down all other instruments before I saved. Then when I opened the new file (rendered)I imported that new file and added to the song I was working on. It appears that could be done as many times as you want to have lots of sounds to mix as you like. I'm sure most reading this already knew but for the other newbys I hope this is helpful. Enjoy..Jay

Jay,
Once in RB you can generate new tracks there also.
Right click a new blank track and choose 'Select and generate Realtrack' (or Realdrums).
May save you some steps. That way it just generates onto its own track for you right away.
If it was me I would first open the BiaB song in RB, then start bringing the individual wave tracks you created into the new RB project (so you have the tempo/chords and A/B parts from BiaB to use for generating in RB).
Then try generating new tracks (and recording your own) inside RB.
Experiment with different style combinations; it's fun!
Take advantage of the Multiriff function that generates the track you choose but gives you multiple variations to choose from.
Find the point where you feel comfortable moving to RB, instead of going back and forth. It may save you some time, and 'creative juice' time at that.
I do not work here, but the benefits are still awesome
Make your sound your own!

You may want to check out the Drop Station area in BIAB. This will be convenient if you are generating ABCD songs. Once the part is generated, you drag it over to the Drop Station and drop it on the format you want (WAV, MIDI, etc). From there, you can drag it out of BIAB into whatever you choose.
Just another way to confuse you!
