For an alternate viewpoint, you already can do easily what you describe you want, assuming you have only one repeated part per song.

There are three number entry areas where Rharv mentioned; the number of choruses is there, but also Bar for beginning of chorus, and Bar for end of chorus. If you want just one part of your song to repeat, use those other two numbers to specify the beginning and ending measures of your repeat. In other words, you are not limited to repeating the whole song (which BIAB terms one chorus, just as jazz musicians commonly do).

The only thing different from what you described is that you use those two numbers rather than setting anything in particular measures. Make sense?
