I feel your pain I am still trying my butt of to work an arrangement for Still Got The Blues and the current styles, in my opinion anyway just do not get the feel for that song.Later, Well... Even after doing what ZeroZero suggested AND checking countless other waltz meters I found no rhythm section for simple 6/8 feel. I checked all the 12/8 signatures too. The feel of my buddy's tune reminds me of Norweigen Wood although I think it's in 12/8. I'm not saying what I was looking for was not there somewhere but I've auditioned every style and had no luck. I could find nothing close to a simple kick on the 1 beat - rim shot on the 4 beat, simple hi-hat, straight forward 6/8 feel. I don't know BIAB or Real Tracks enough to pursue that path. So...being a drummer (please don't hold that against me)/guitarist I abandoned my search and just played the track in X3 and sent the file to my buddy. I'll chock it up to user ignorance but I got the track done. Carry on....
