Are you working with Midi drums in Real band?
I almost always (to my recollection) end up with audio drums when I open the project in real band from BB.
As such, I can use normalize to increase the overall level in the track and add audio FX.. compression and or EQ to brighten the sound and that has the effect of making the drums easier to hear when highs are added.
