how do you launch the BiaB server? Am trying to set up for Android. Every time I click on it from the control panel on desktop it says it is already running - I need the IP address I gather to link my Android tablet and phone to the PC.

Welcome to the forum. This may help, from the BIAB help file: To allow BBRemote to connect, make sure that Band-in-a-Box Server is running on your desktop Windows PC. You need to have a program called C:\bb\bbhelper\BandInABoxServer.exe running. If it is running, you will see a musical note icon on your Windows system tray in the right lower corner of the windows taskbar. You can run or install the server from the main Band-in-a-Box Windows program, using the menu item Windows | BB2Go.you need to have BandInABoxServer.exe running in the system tray- sees pgmusic.com/help102 for details)

Hi, You shouldn't need the IP address, as the Android app should see the server, if it is running, and then it will display the address, and you just click on it.
c:\bb\bbhelper\BandInABoxServer.exe will run the server.

I think he may be missing the little spot on the Android to find where he can see the IP and click on it.
In Realband you click File in the upper left and then Server in the drop down.
Is it the same in BiaB?
Sometimes (especially moving between 'servers') I have to find the right IP and click on it .. and I often look at the screen for 10 seconds before remembering how to do this.

Hi all,
Please Help !!!
I am presently using Band in a Box Version 2013 build 72 and I also have Band in a Box App for iPhone installed on my IPhone 5s (currently updated to iOS 8.1.3) plus i have the app installed in my iPad (5.1.1)
I am unable to connect both the apps from my iPhone or iPad even after typing in the correct IP wireless address. This is probably due to the BB2Go is not turned on from my computer.
I am however unable to find this feature in my 'desktop' of Band in A Box version to enable it. I am running the BIAB program on my MacBook pro version 10.6.8
Can you please tell me where exactly this is found on the BIAB program?

Try the BBHelper folder (if I understand the issue)
You need to turn BB Server on, then enter the IP of the machine running the server app into your other devices.

I'm pretty sure you're right however, my bbhelper folder is missing.
Is there anyway I can find another to reinstall into my BIAB program?

BBHelper folder should be on your original install media.
You may be able to simply copy it over.
Do you have a HDD or CD's as your original installation, or ?
