As others have said: No. This is the truth -- but only 98 percent of it.

Depending on your written melody you might be more or less successful for various parts of your song.

What you can do is:
1. Create a chord progression with the right color tones to "force" the RealTrack into your melody.
2. If you are happy with a result, freeze that track an import it in RealBand.
3. If you're not happy either re-generate the song or go back to #1 an tweak your chord progression.
