I used BIAB to help make this demo of my smooth jazz composition, "Sunny and Cool".

I played the melody on Yamaha MO-8 using a jazz guitar preset.

I played the acoustic piano and piano solo using the Garritan JABB steinway jazz piano sound.

Live acoustic shaker.

Other synth and percussion sounds by MO-8.
The guitar solo is BIAB real track.

I used the following real tracks:

RealTracks in style: ~~903:Bass, Electric, SmoothCool Sw16 100
RealTracks in style: ~~906:Piano, Electric, Rhythm SmoothCool Sw16 100
RealTracks in style: ~~1073:Guitar, Electric, Rhythm SmoothJazzCool Sw16 100
RealTracks in song: 1306:Guitar, Electric, Soloist SmoothJazzCool Sw16 100 (Bluesy)
RealDrums in style: SmoothJazzCoolSw16^1-a:Sidestick, HiHat , b:Snare, Ride

DAW is Cubase.

The vibe is Sunny and the music is very Cool!! Really nice work! Beautiful piano solo. It's great the way you created a melody out of the guitar solo stuff-must have taken some serious editing. Beautifully done! Take care. Greg

Thanks Greg, for checking it out! Actually, I wrote the melody, and played the melody on my keyboard.

I aspire to be able to compose something in this realm, but I know I couldn't hold a candle to what you've done here. It's so full and rich. And all of the layers draw you deep inside of this composition.

I have one huge complaint though - it ended way to soon. smile

I suppose I'll just have to give it another listen then.

Rob,

Enjoyable. Smooth. A great listen.

I don't know how you guys who do instrumentals like this have the patience for it - to get it all "just right".

Rob, smooth indeed, great playing and composition.
Floyd; speaking for myself, I can't sing, so I use my patience. LOL.

Loving this, its got a really rich sound to it, so smooth and golden. I'm a big Rippingtons fan and this reminds me so much of them.

Great stuff.

Thanks for sharing.

Hi Rob ...

We're sitting in our chairs and groovin' to it! we do a lot of Smooth Jazz and "light" R&B. This right down our alley! love the bass line!!! we have a couple dozen Smooth Jazz and R&B instrumentals we've not posted. will be adding some of them soon.

Great listen and still groovin' n our chairs although the song ended over a minute ago. In case you;re mot sure ... we loved it! wishing you the best ...
