I made a simple song with a bluegrass theme, including appropriate bass track. The bass goes along with the other instruments, then just stops for 1/2 a measure, then picks up again. Does it several times in the song. I tried replacing with another bass real track, but same thing happens. It is like the bass player has to stop and swat a skeeter!

Hey George,

If you post a link to the SGU (you'll need to drop it in your website somewhere (a folder) so that you can link to it here), then some of us could give it a quick try to see if we experience the same drop out... (or a drop box link or similar...)

So, on further experimentation, I found that if you pick just the right style, this is less likely to occur. Also if you highlight only that region in the RB track and regenerate, it adds the notes back in. I am guessing this regenerate action will work on wonky sounding pieces of other tracks as well.

Later... I tried several instances of BIAB songs with various styles. During initial playback, and even before saving then opening in RB, I hear missing bass parts. Once I get the BIAB song in RB I can then see the missing wav sections. I did a bit of a workaround with regenerate, but that is a pain point. I will upload a file somewhere and link from here as suggested. Perhaps someone can get me past this speed bump.

I hear ya; sometimes weird things happen to this software; I usually try as many different things as I can think of; close & reopen the program, change instruments and change back, re-enter the whole song, there's a re-generate the song button somewhere, freeze the song - unfreeze the song...

It is possible to cause an instrument to not play for a given section during chord entry in BB. Accidental keystroke could be such a cause.

I do not work here, but the benefits are still awesome

Still a bit perplexed by this. I am still gettin bass lines with dropped measures. It is weird. Like the bass player just stops for a few beats. Regen fixes this, but wondering why just the bass line?

If regen fixes it then my comments (possible causes) were wrong
