I never intended it to mean that this is a bug in RB. I just love it when I hear the word 'feature' in software.
I actually would rather work with a song that is laid out in a linear fashion. The repeats, endings, and tags are convenient for printouts but a pain when customizing choruses. In BIAB, a bar setting in a song with repeats can mean plenty of things. You have to go in, select your chorus and make whatever changes you want. In addition, the part markers can be deceiving when the default 'Vary style in middle chorus' is used. In a linear form, you go right to the bar you want and do what you like.
