Welcome to the BIAB forum! Sounds suspiciously to me like you've got audio sound (real tracks), but no midi sound - even though the keyboard is obviously communicating with BIAB. Try something for me - put some chords into BIAB (or open a pre-existing song), then open the style picker. Scroll way down to the bottom and select one of the old "zz" styles (the names start with "zz" - these are all midi styles. Now try to play that - you'll probably hear either nothing or else just drums (that's because real drums substitution is the default, I believe). The "zz" styles are all midi styles.

If I'm right, you'll need to go into midi setup, and select the default apple synth. Then you should hear sound with midi.
