Hey, bin neu hier und erhoffe mir hier Hilfe für die Anwendung von Band in a Box. Kann mir jemand sagen wie ich Noten mit Haltebogen, Pausen und Triolen einfügen kann und wie ich Akkorde löschen kann? Vielen Dank!

Am besten im Handbuch das Kapitel 7 -> Notendarstellung und -Druck durchlesen. Haltebögen generiert das Programm automatisch bei entsprechenden Notenlängen. Pausen können duch die kleine Checkbox im Notationfenster erzwungen werden. Triolen können leicht eingegeben werden bei Swing Styles. Ansonsten bietet Rechtsklick auf die sogenannte Zeitachse die Möglichkeit, auch bei geraden Stilen Triolen einzugeben. Akkorde können durch die Delete Taste des NumPads gelöscht werden; alternativ kann man in den Präferenzen die Wirkung der Leerzeichentaste auf 'Wie Version 9 und früher' einstellen - diese kryptische Bemerkung löst sich im englischen Original auf -> 'Enter no chords' ...

Vielen Dank für die rasche Antwort. Ich werde es mit den Tipps versuchen. Vielleicht bekomme ich es hin. Bedingt durch einen Umzug kann ich mein Handbuch z. Zt. nicht wiederfinden. Jedenfalls habe ich ein Problem, was ich noch nie mit BiaB hatte: Eine z. B. halbe Note klingt nicht aus. Es entsteht - ohne Pause - bis zum Klang der nächsten Note eine kurze Pause dazwischen, also kurz kein Ton und das möchte ich nicht. Es ist aber auch das erste mal, dass ich versuche eine Melodie mit BiaB selbst zu schreiben. Ich habe sonst Midi's nur damit geändert. Danke!

Die Noteneingabe bei BiaB ist etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig - sie hat aber eine Reihe von Vorteilen gegenüber anderen Eingabemodi wie etwa bei Finale oder Sibelius. Wenn man etwas mit BiaB vertraut ist, kann man ein LeadSheet wesentlich schneller mit BiaB erstellen als etwa mit Finale oder Sibelius.
Bei der Eingabe einer Note wird eine vorangegangene Note etwas verkürzt und auf eine Länge eingestellt, die in den "Windows Notations Optionen -> Mehr.. -> Weitere Notations-Einstellungen/Standardwerte für eingefügte Noten/Länge%" angepasst werden kann. Die Voreinstellung hierfür ist 80% - das erklärt die kleine Pause. Ein Wert hier um 100% verhindert diese Pause, klingt aber in anderen Situationen oft unmusikalisch.
Die Länge eines erklingenden Tones kann man am besten im sogenannten Staff Roll Modus einstellen bzw. verändern -> einfach die Notenlänge mit der rechten Maustaste grafisch anpassen.

Vielen Dank für den spitzen Tipp mit der rechten Maustaste. Das ist ja einfach genial mit diesem Fenster kann man ja scheinbar (habe es noch nicht ausprobiert) auch Auflösungszeichen, b und # verwenden. Akkorde kann ich jetzt löschen bzw. ändern und mit den Pausen das klapp auch. So ein Forum ist einfach besser als ein Handbuch. Ich sage immer learning by doing. Leider begreife ich die Erklärungen im Handbuch nicht immer so ganz. Ich habe wohl einen Bekannten, der dieses Programm super gut kennt, aber leider kann der gute Mensch es nicht erklären. Er kann es nicht rüberbringen. Tja, auch das gibt's. Vielen Dank für die Hilfe!  Grüße Music-Girl
