How do you spell smooth? D-A-N-I !!!
Good song and production. I'm sure you'll be as successful writing and singing about 'found' love as you do about 'lost' love when you one day find that 'right' one. I always enjoy your submissions.

Hi Dani,
You are SUCH a romantic!
The instruments are mixed well. The vocal was a bit hard to hear clearly at the beginning - not sure if I could pick out why...

Hi, Floyd !:))
Yes, you are right, I am a romantic and a big one too !:))(chuckle) !:)) I do not think I have been so romantic all my life, it is something that has grown on me after my hectic work life ! I did try and take up the lyrics in the beginning, for some reason it is difficult to extract the words "a while" ! I tried to do it by increasing treble a bit and by lowering the synth during the time those words are sung !:)) The altered version is in it´s normal place in the header !
Floyd, thank you for your most kind words !:))
Cheers Dani

Another sweet song!! If I heard one of your songs on an acoustic guitar, I would never think to use a pedal steel but it works very well. I always enjoy your songs for their sentiment and spirituality. And as you know I like the retro sound! Vocals are sweet as usual. Keep em coming-I`ll always be listening. Take care. Greg

Hi Dani,
And old friend of mine once wrote the following sentence in one of his lyrics: 'the perfect song is never really sung'
But that doesn't keep us from trying does it? Your attempts are getting better and better, and yes like Floyd said: you're a true romantic! Very nice, looking forward to the next one!
Regards, Rob

Hi, Greg !
Thank you for your most kind comments ! :)) made me feel good !:)) The pedal, yes, it had to be dimmed in a few spots not to override the chords but I think I managed to fix it ok. Retro, yes, I guess I am a retro guy so the sound I produce is retro too (chuckle) !:))
Cheers Dani

Hey Dani,
"Some people want to fill the world with silly love songs and what's wrong with that, I'd like to know 'cause here I go again..." (quote from Sir Paul's Silly Love Songs lyrics).
I always enjoy going where that romantic heart of yours takes me in your songs. Nice big smooth sounding production on this one too.
Josie

Hi, Josie !
Thank you so much for your most kind words ! Maybe Sir Paul is right, maybe this really is silly ? The problem is that I write the way I feel and if it makes me silly I guess it´s okay with me ! (chuckle) ! I am old enough to make a fool of myself without being afraid of making a fool of myself !:)) (giggle) !:))
Cheers Dani

Hi Dani,
I just realised that I haven't yet heard this one! You're a such a productive songwriter that it's hard for me to keep up!!!
There's nothing wrong with writing a good, old-fashioned love song. It's what makes the world go around. I always enjoy your music. Always.
A great listen, Noel
