Received BIAB 2014. Absolutely love it! In my opinion, best software made for Windows! Ran into one problem. The Realtrack "Symphon" crashes my windows 8.1 computer. Only one so far that does this. Anybody else run into this? I can hear the wav file that showcases "Symphon" and I really want to use this file with its strings and horns.
Using Dell All-In-One with 16 gigs ram, i7, 1 terabyte hardrive.

Ho Johnny,
Nice to hear from you. Not sure why it is crashing for you - we haven't seen that before. Does it crash with any song (for example, just a C chord)?
If so, you might isolate which RealTrack is crashing it, by starting with a MIDI style, like the ZZJAZZ one, and adding in the same RealTracks that the Symphon style uses (the #s are listed in the song memo)
If it's only on a certain song, please email us that song, and the style.

OK Peter:
I rebooted everything several times for the each test. I finally loaded the actual "Symphon" song to see if it would act the same and stop. It did! Everything stops and defaults to "not responding"! BTW, when I hit play, I get one (1) audio click of the sticks; then everything stops.
BTW, everything is so much smoother with 14! I feel that so much LOVE comes through the research work for BIAB. Great going! JZ

OK. 2291 Horns work!
2335 Strings also work, but sound "fluttery" (like a Billygoat)!
added to "ZZJAZZ" and using Coyote.

OK. Song in question was in 3/4. Symphon track is in 4. Possible problem? I'm not sure. Worked till morning with new track, new chords, but in 4/4. Sometimes works, sometimes crashes. All tests after a reboot so that no "lazy" dll's could "muddy the waters". So maybe we are dealing with an intermittent here? Hope not!

Just found out _moviest style also crashes. So seems like a style with a string quartet is having problems, at least on my system.

We'll try testing those styles (_SYMPH and _MOVIEST) to see if we can reporduce. It would be helpful if you could email a song (SGU) that causes a crash. Also, is this the Audiophile version or regular one?

Johnny, Thanks for sending the file (Just as I am). It plays fine on my system. Real nice arrangement!
On my system, it isn't using any RealTracks, just MIDI tracks, and a MIDI SuperTrack (2057 on the Soloist track for the MIDI.
It also uses a Hi-Q Sample Tank piano sound,
SoloistCustom Synth is Hi-Q 001 01 Piano, Acoustic, Grand SampleTank.tgs
MIDI SuperTracks in song: 2057:Piano, Rhythm CelticWaltz Ev 100
So, if this song is causing a crash, since it isn't using any RealTracks, it shouldn't be related to RealTracks or the Audiophile version per se.
Possiblities would be that the SampleTank sound is crashing when loading. Perhaps try it again, but without the SampleTank sound.

I was able to play it with Symphony Style (that's in 4/4). That uses RT
RealTracks in style: 2291:Horn Section, Rhythm SlowPopPads Ev16 065
RealTracks in style: 2335:String Quartet, Rhythm PopHall Ev 085

We are going to try the above test on the Audiophile version, just to make sure there isn't a difference. I'll let you know here how that works out.
