I will be writing back to see if i can cinvince them that the backings should be treated as "samples" . I have submitted lead sheets and also mp3s in the past without incident. If you treat them as samples, you would need to credit the originator of the sample. Lots of law suits over unauthorized samples.

Songuard is not a substitute for copyright.
