Bonjour,
je constate que le DD de BIB reste allumé même lorsque mon PC est arrêté.
Je débranche le port USB afin d' éviter le gaspillage inutile d'énergie pour la nuit.
Et vous ?
N'est-ce pas à la longue risqué pour le bon fonctionnement du DDur ?
Qu'en pensez vous ?

Bonjour,

Pour ma part je fonctionne uniquement avec BIAB installé sur le DD du PC, partant du principe de base que les chemins d'accés sans cablage ni connexions sont plus directs et moins sujets à bugs divers ...

Il n'en reste pas moins que BIAB fonctionne très bien sur DD externe !

Le reste est une question de logique : Un DD externe (comme un DD interne aussi d'ailleurs) est un organe sous tension en mouvement et donc sujet à usure. On évitera donc de le faire tourner jour et nuit sans raison. A l'inverse, les séquences de démarrage et d'arrêt trop fréquents dans une journée peuvent causer autant de dégats !
Tout est donc question de choix et de raison !...

Impératif dans tous les cas -> retirer le périphérique en toute sécurité (99 fois sur 100 ça passe, mais quand ça ne passe pas c'est la misère ...)

On peut imaginer (la technologie progresse) dans un futur assez proche que PG Music puisse faire tourner BIAB sur support flash (clé USB ou carte mémoire) avec les même performance que sur un DD, mais c'est une autre histoire ...

Ben oui même dilleme,
pour le moment je le débranche mais je ne sais pas si c'est ce qui est le mieux..
D'autre avis sur la question ?

Si le DD externe reste allumé lorsque l'ordi est hors-tension, c'est certainement que vous l'avez connecté à un port USB3. Ce n'est pas le cas de tous les ports USB3, mais certains disposent d'une fonction "Charger Plus" (ou autre appellation selon les constructeurs) permettant d'utiliser l'ordinateur comme "station de charge" par exemple pour un téléphone portable ou une tablette.
Essayez un autre port USB de votre ordi. De nos jours il y a peu de chances que votre ordinateur ne propose QUE de l'USB3. Il y a donc fort à parier qu'il en propose également en USB2 qui, pour leur part, ne restent en principe pas alimentés lors de la mise hors-tension de l'ordi.

Bonjour.

C'est tout à fait normal pour les ports USB à faire un contact meme le PC est arrêté - le plus du PCs sont comme ca. Il faut débrancher la prise de courant. Il y a pas de problem généralement, mais c'est une bonne idée si vous allez laisser le PC longtemps.

Ici, il y a une distinction.

Laptop = le portable
PC = l'ordinateur.

Alors, j'ai pensé que wizub a le PC.
