I suspect the culprit here isn't the mike, but a lot of digital processing. I was just recovering from allergies and recorded the vocals in the wee hours of the morning. I probably recorded it a bit hot. Add to that quite a few pitch issues, and that I go overboard when editing... But I'll pay more attention in the future.
