I have a song that is all real tracks/real drums and I just spent some time using bar markers to set it all up.
It begins with acoustic guitar, then the bass comes in. Then drums, electric, and synth pad on the 1st chorus. On the second chorus a second electric comes in just hitting power chords. There is a long tag at the end with the string quartet overlaid and then the final two bar ending everything drops out except the string quartet.
I had it working perfectly. And played it through several times and saved my work regularly throughout.
I broke off for the time being and intended to come back later, open in Real Band and put in a long 8-bar crossfade in the tag and be finished.
When I open it now (still in BiaB) nothing plays. If I click around in the chord chart and start the song from different places, sometimes I can get a couple of the instruments to play. I've tried regenerating several times of course. At most only two of the real tracks will load. I think I confused it. Its definitely confusing me.

When all else fails, restart the computer.
Also be sure you don't have the volume turned down.
I'll never forget the time I had a similar issue.... no sound....and I had just finished working on the song.... so I knew it played.
No sound.... speakers on.... meters moving on the tracks..... WT....? reboot the computer and the interface.....
Still no sound.... OK... load a different project... SOUND..... reload the first project..... no sound.... hummmmmm..... wait a freaking minute,,, how did the MUTE get turned on? CLick to unmute.... hit play..... SOUND..... face palm....Doh!!!

In addition to Herb's advice ...
Sometimes when a file doesn't open and play properly in BIAB, I've found that opening it in Realband and then re-saving it as mgu/sgu (with a new file name - I like to keep the original in case I need it later) solves the problem. After this it opens and plays in BIAB.
This might be worth a shot.

Well, I tried opening it in BiaB again with the same result....nothing saved into any of the tracks. As in, no sound, no visual indications in the keyboard views. Other songs play fine. I reopened it again and waited for it to generate, then clicked later in the song and got drums and 1 guitar track, then BiaB crashed in the middle of a measure.
I was able to open it in RB and before I did anything, saved it as a SEQ file. All is well now.....a couple quirky things happened (it reverted back to 3 choruses instead of 2) but other than that it works. Weird.
