When all else fails, restart the computer.
Also be sure you don't have the volume turned down.
I'll never forget the time I had a similar issue.... no sound....and I had just finished working on the song.... so I knew it played.
No sound.... speakers on.... meters moving on the tracks..... WT....? reboot the computer and the interface.....
Still no sound.... OK... load a different project... SOUND..... reload the first project..... no sound.... hummmmmm..... wait a freaking minute,,, how did the MUTE get turned on? CLick to unmute.... hit play..... SOUND..... face palm....Doh!!!
