I use the MME driver in Band In A Box when entering notes and it works for me.

Here's something else that is worth checking ...

1. Enter Notation Mode

2. Click on "Opt" found on the upper left corner of the staves.




3. Now select "More" (#1 on the image below), activate "Play inserted notes" (#2) and then exit using "OK" (#3)
