In addition to Herb's advice ...
Sometimes when a file doesn't open and play properly in BIAB, I've found that opening it in Realband and then re-saving it as mgu/sgu (with a new file name - I like to keep the original in case I need it later) solves the problem. After this it opens and plays in BIAB.
This might be worth a shot.
