Bob,

Here's an image of a sextuplet that I set up in notation mode.

To work on this, I set set the "Bars per screen" that's found under the "Opt" button in notation mode to "1".

Once I had the tuplet organised, I'd then set the screen back to 4 bars per screen and not worry how the display looks.

To set the 6 notes for the sextuplet, I right clicked on the white beat-indicator bar shown below.

Then I set the treble clef's resolution to "6" for that beat.

One other thing to keep in mind ...

When in "Opt", under notation mode, make sure that the "Tick Offset" is set to 0.

Every time a song is generated, this is reset to a predetermined value and is not saved with the song. If it is anything other than zero, it will impact significantly on the sextuplet because of the speed of the notes.

Hope this helps,
Noel

P.S. Personally, I'd favour working in Piano Roll mode (#1 on the image below) for these tuplets and I'd set the snap and duration to 1/16th note triplets (#2, #3 on image below).

It's also possible to use the +/- buttons on the lower right corner of the bottom window (as shown below) to expand the view so that it's easier to work on this beat.
