I just swapped PC's for something a little less ancient than what I was previously using, but not something that is up to modern specs.

My old soundcard was an M-Audio Delta 1010 Lt with the cable clusters coming off the back. It worked ok but doesn't fit in my current PC case so I'm using two separate USB's now, one for audio and one for midi. I also have dual monitor PCI video card that still works. I used to have an early Aardvark audio/midi interface that ran off SCSI but I think I got rid of that...

So my question is, is PCI going to be around for a while? Next year when I finally upgrade to a 64-bit system, can I just put the old M-Audio back in there? Or will it go the way of the floppy?

Thanks,Dan
