Noel, those tips are extremely helpful, and will go a long way toward speeding up my workflow. But What I actually need for the primary query is to be able to apply any standard database search terms, like AND, OR, NOT, EOR, XOR sort of thing. A lot of this I will be able to do with that filter dialog.
I'm just trying to get a lot of work done in a short time, my older tracks (especially the SC-88 ones) are sounding boring, thanks to Ron Carter and friends; they're making the gig fun again. :-)
