I thought I noticed something weird about the pa-sound last weekend. Last night my soundtech also heard it. When we soundchecked all was fine. We had the great, warm and detailed hifi sound we're used to have. But during the gig, we had to adjust the eq, killing all the highs. The sound was getting sharper and sharper missing body and fulness of sound. Bass was pretty constant, but not quite the usual sound. We had to turn up the volume of the amp to 3/4 to get about 100 dB of sound (we where in a tent playing for some 200 people). In the past the amp gave much more soundpressure. Fortunatly I won't have to use my own pa tonight, I'll be patching trough. But I need to get this fixed before next friday. Anybody got any ideas on what could be wrong with the amp? Could be a help on getting the thing fixed faster or having to decide to write it off and buy a new one (  ) Amp = Peavey PV 2600 (4 years old) speakers: EV Gladiator set (2* sub + 2 * top)
