Nice driving song. Excellent singing and lyrics. Loved the guitar power chords
Hi Scott, This is a driving rocker that is good to listen to while driving. LOL. I always check the mix in the truck. Thanks, Tom
Tom,
Super rocker! A little AC/DC, a little Cream, a little Byrds... all mixed together like it's no big deal... "I got this" he says...
I especially liked the closing leads.
Your mixes are always top-notch. This is no exception. Crisp and clear and Rockin'. Once again, it sounds like a band who have been together a long time, getting in the studio and doing it right...
A very catchy chorus! I did, however, want to hear more voices backing you up there...
Oh... and you are the King Of Loud. BIG, BIG sound..
floyd
floyd, I was definitely thinking Byrds in the middle part. And the creamy distortion on the leads is all Cream. And I can see where you get the AC/DC thing from, but I was thinking more along the lines of Eric Church believe it or not. Many times I thought I should redo the closing lead, but now that a couple of people seemed to like it, I'm glad I left it in. Thanks, Tom
Hi Tom,
Yes, this sounds great!
Really has that 80s hardrock sound, some Springsteen influences too.
The breaks are very natural.
Sounds natural, as if it wasn't made with BIAB, which is meant as a great compliment here :-)
Regards,
Rob
Rob, Thanks for your generous comments. I think we are all striving to make these real tracks sound even more real, whether it be EQ shaping, processing, or fine line editing. Some of the transitions from measure to measure don't always sound natural and if the above doesn't work it's time to find an alternative track. Biab is an unbelievable piece of software that bridges the gap between art and technology beautifully, but it is up to us to find the full potential that is there. Thanks again, Tom
