Its my view that users shouldn't have to install any third party utility to change a very basic and much needed item as the start menu, and would go as far as to say that shame on Microsoft for putting people through that, hence the sighs of relief and jumping in the air for joy at the return of something that should never have been left out in the first place. We were all guinea pigs.

Ok in the end it was working ok for me, but after hard drive fail, when I installed my acronis backup of 8 I got a message at startup of 8 that a digital file couldn't be verified.

Oh and nothing wrong with a charms bar if you happen to be in good company smile
