Well, mea culpa. You (and by you, I mean I) learn something new everyday.

It looks like BIAB/RB have a feature I missed (don't know how I could have missed it, since there are so few features in the programs). smile

Anyway, both programs DO support individual note articulations. Specifically: slurs, crescendos, decrescendos, staccato, regular accent, legato accent, staccatisimo, and marcato accent.

You have to apply these note by note (right click on the note in editable mode and select notation symbols. You can select from there. It's a little kludgy, but it works. Looks like you can only select one per note, so you can't (for example) have a staccato accented note.

That being said, I can't find where you can do grace notes in notation. And I don't know if these articulations come through when you export to MIDI and import into a dedicated notation program.

That's where MusicXML would come in handy (hint, hint).
